Vendor call for the East Valley’s newest market, the Prickly Pear Marketplace. PPM is located at the iconic Vertuccio Farms and takes place on Friday nights from 5:00-9:00. This amazing location is nestled alongside the always bustling Power Road. We have excellent street visibility and easy access to the 60 and 202 highways, and we are near a new entertainment hub just a couple of blocks away. There are many opportunities to be seen!
Our concept emphasizes curation over quantity. We aim to showcase small businesses that provide exceptional products and have friendly staff who are passionate about their work. Our goal is to create something unique that enhances our beloved space and adds value to the community, all while ensuring that participating vendors feel their time and effort are worthwhile. We do not want an endless array of tents with multiple similar vendors; instead, we want to foster an environment where businesses can thrive, grow a loyal customer base, and ultimately be profitable.
A market thrives only when its vendors succeed. The relationship between a market and vendor is symbiotic; it has to be lucrative for the vendor. Today, vendors have countless opportunities available. Our goal is to create an exceptional market that you are eager to prioritize in your busy schedule.
Although the space has plenty of room for growth and can host a large number of vendors, we are committed to establishing a space deserving of your time. Full-time vendors, monthly vendors, and early adopters will always have priority over new additions. We value your consistency and your partnership, not just with appreciation and recognition, but also through reciprocal actions.
This is why we will significantly limit the number of similar vendor types to make it worth your time and effort. If two vendors operate in a similar vertical, their products must be distinctly different. You will not be placed near another vendor that could impact your sales. There must be sufficient foot traffic to sustain sales for multiple vendors of the same type. We are not looking to create a war of attrition for you. We want everyone to succeed.
Let’s address the common question: Do we offer exclusivity? The answer is: possibly. If your product is highly specialized or if you are a full-time vendor, we will consider it. Consistent vendors are essential to a successful marketplace, and we view you as partners; your needs will always be our priority.
Clear communication and coordination will be paramount. Assigned spots will be designated, allowing full-time vendors to keep the same location each week. This way, there will be no fighting for spots, waiting in line, or camping out overnight. Load-in should always be a smooth and effortless process. We are all here for the same purpose, it should be a drama-free and enjoyable experience.

All vendors are required to have General Liability insurance, as well as the appropriate State and City licenses.
We’re looking for straight-leg tents, ideally in white or your corporate colors. We would like to avoid using blue-angled leg tents to maintain a professional appearance. You can find straight-leg white tents for about $65, and it’s always good to have an extra on hand just in case. Don’t forget, all tents will need 25-pound weights for each leg.
